Day-to-Day Duties and Work Environment
As a Fleet Controller, you’ll manage and optimise routes to ensure timely deliveries and top resource utilisation. Daily, you’ll work closely with dispatchers and other controllers, keeping transports on track.
You’ll ensure fleet maintenance, compliance, and efficiency by coordinating with the workshop and utilising reporting systems. Monitoring performance and addressing delays swiftly is essential.
Beyond logistics, you’ll oversee team communication, driver performance, and maintain high standards for safety and regulatory compliance. Expect strong stakeholder engagement, with frequent updates for clients and leadership.
